NOTE: I WROTE THESE IN A HURRY SO THERE ARE SPELLING AND GRAMMAR ERRORS.
the dream started with regular me in a maze
the maze was a front for what it really was - a search and rescue riddle thing.
don;t remember much from that part but it switched after i finished successful.
the second part of the dream was sort of super heroes meets percy jackson:
then i was debriefed on the next mission. which would require me to go through many tasks and save a lot of former heroes.
when i entered i gained enhanced senses and was known as Leona - a hint to my powers were which mimicking big cat’s ( but mostly lions).
i found myself in a group of other around my same age, there were over 10 of us, lots of girls and boys - a fairly even mix. and we were all gathered. a centaur was talking to us, giving us our instructions, that we are to find the reason why the heroes ended up breaking up and also destroy a threat of some sort that i don’t quite recall
our first stop was a cemetary.
when we got there we discovered the heroes that we were supposed to idolize. Which included the flash and some already known ones but also ones that my imagination created - beast woman and the like. my character idolized beast woman and wanted her to me my mentor but she picked someone random that didn’t even share her powers. instead i got some bear-lady that talked like rosanne bar.
rosanne bear (as i will now call her) taught me that i was able to converse with animals - she used mostly bees because she was a bear - but i could either decide they were helpful friends or enemies and use their meanness toward me on others which would have been cool if i could actually do that.
after that we left our mentors and continued through the cemetary. i accidentally stepped on a grave so i stopped to knealt down and apologized but the spirit there was pretty pissed at me and in the end told me to just go away. it was not very nice and i hadn’t even left a footprint.
anyway, we conversed with a spirit of one of the heroes - i think he was a hero that had tree based powers (mainly apples). he gave us few hints that i don’t remember. but there was another ghost - a girl that none of the boys seemed to be able to see. and as we all got into a hay ride sort of thing the female ghost told us that the spirit we had seen was a fake.
i was very suspicious about the spirit, she told us the men around us were stupid to be fooled by such an obvious trick and that she knew where the real spirit was and would show us if we agreed. the girls reached out their hands to her, tentatively i did too, suddenly we noticed that there were apples growing on certain trees but the boys couldn’t see that.
we ended up at the grave of a gorgon (which still had its “turn you to stone if you look into my stone glowing eye) so everyone made sure to keep watching the ground at the grave-stone’s feet (it could still move around). it talked to the centaur quite a lot but i wasn’t paying much attention, i was thinking about what that female spirit said. then i noticed the girls beginning to gather and leave.
quickly i followed them - but the boys soon caught up with the centuar and we made it back into the room where we met our mentors. some of us started eating but suddenly it was time to leave -the girls hung back as the boys and centaur made their exit and then the doors closed and locked on us. leaving us stuck in the room (of course).
suddenly males in skeleton suits (black fabric outfits with skeleton markings) came out of several secret doors with rope and nets. they captured some of the girls - but several escaped. One of them grabbed me by the arm but i let my lion-girl instincts kick in and bit him.
once i was released i ran but not before having to beat up some of the other skeleton dudes - which caused more of the other girls to get free. but then i woke up and realized it was 1:30 in the afternoon and you just can’t sleep past then.
i can’t answer asks for some reason… //cough
That’s great!!… anyone got a link?
This is a thing that happened.
Helen Lewis wrote an article on the New Statesman yesterday on the online harassment experienced by Anita Sarkeesian, which I’ve been following for a while. To recap:
American blogger Anita Sarkeesian, who launched a Kickstarter programme to raise $6,000 to…
:C
In which people are the absolute worst, and in the process prove Anita Sarkeesian so, so right, in a really terrifying and awful way.
the world really disappoints me sometimes. :(
i think i just saw benedict cumberbatch’s twin on gumsmoke! i knew it wasn’t him, but dang! i needed to double take at first because… well see for yourself!
